IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

It is getting very close to the point that the books will be OPEN

So i thought id share some important information on the changes to the booking system before doing so....

●PRIVATE STUDIO: Hard Luck will no longer be an open studio, wich means i will run on an appointment only policy and be closed to the public. So messaging ahead to organise a time for consultations is essential. Although the studio will be at my residence, it is fully separated from the main adress via an alley way in the front yard, and fully self contained. The studio is council and health department approved and will maintain the levels of professionalism as it always has previously. Address given once appointments are secured.

●BOOKING BY APPOINTMENT ONLY: There will no longer be sessions under a walk in basis. All appointments will require an appointment.

●NO WALK IN CONSULTATIONS: Consultations are not a necessity, but a much better way to discuss ideas and give more accurate price estimates. Message ahead of time to discuss availability for consultations is required.

● DEPOSITS: Like always, all bookings will require a deposit, deposits are non refundable. failure to attend appointments or cancellation within 48 hours will forfeit your deposit, you will need to make a new deposit to secure another appointment.

●ONLINE BOOKINGS: Appointments can be made via messaging, but will require a deposit to be made prior. Deposit amounts are calculated by session times. Without an in person consultation, session times will be estimated to the information given by the client. Estimates via messaging will ALWAYS be OVER estimated.

I am very excited to opening my books and getting back to doing what i love. It has been a tough few months and i appreciate everyone's patience as i get back into things and navigate the new setup. Looking forward to working with my much valued clients and future clients VERY SOON!

Hey everyone! Thought id give you all an update on how im travelling. Things are moving along in the new space and im very close to begin opening the books!

As you can imagine, this whole ordeal has taken a toll on me. Not only the financial setbacks but the physical and emotional impact from the stress ive been under is something i never thought id need to endure.

The new space will be a private studio, so wont be open to the public to "walk in" any time. As most of you know, just message ahead to work out a time im free to call in for a consultation or booking. Alternatively ill be doing bookings via message and ill run through how to do so and whats required in my announcement ill make soon.

I have begun to re schedule those who where cancelled and im verry close to being back into it!

For now, I'll have a moment to slow down and take it all in. Ive been non stop with the fit out and set up i havent really paused to process everything properly, still feels verry un real!

But im verry excited to be announcing when books are open for new clients verry soon 🙌

Appreciation Post!
I have begun the process of setting up a temporary studio at home! The shop is a long way off being usable and in the mean time things are well under way to get me back doing what i do best.
Id like to give a shout out to the following trades for their hard work and generosity over the last week.
Nuggies Roofing & Plumbing Ryan Whitehead
For supplying and installing the plumbing side of things
Adsolar & Electrical
For supplying and installing all the lighting and electrical s.drywall
For supplying and installing plaster
These guys have gone above and beyond to help me and im truly greatful for the exceptional work they've carried out for me! Cannot recommend them higher!

And for everyone else that has helped, reached out to check in on me, gave me a hug and offered there support in any way i appreciate you all greatly!

Still a bit to go, but well on the way to getting things rolling again!

Hey guys! Havent been logged onto the page for a few days to take a break from it all. I appreciate all the messages and comments checking in over the last week or so it means a great deal to me. Still unsure on whats happening but will keep you all updated as soon as i have a set plan moving forward! Im absolutely lost for words. The support and love ive been shown over the last week has been absolutely overwhelming. One of my amazing clients has even gone to the trouble of seting up a Go fund me to help me get through the costs and recover some of my losses. Please share around. As hard as it is for me to accept help, i cant thank everyone enough for what youve already done for me. I truly am so greatful for everyone who has checked in on me, sent messages and offered help in any way. Its been fu***ng hard, but you all have helped me keep my head up! It really shows there is some good in the world

Just like that, a life long dream gone. The extent of the damage from last nights fire has been absolutely devastating. So many sentimental items gone forever. My first machine from my first tattoo nearly 20 years ogo. Things from my mum. Priceless decor and so much gone forever. I cant believe that this has happened i am lost for words. Investigations have made the outcome a fault connected to a power board on my work station but the extent of the damage was to great to prove wich outlets where at fault. Despite the rumours and speculation this is not from suspicious circumstances.
Ill be in contact with clients shortly i just need time to process. From the bottom of my heart i thank everyone for being there, checking in, the continued offers for help and mostly the first responders for keeping everyone safe. Ive lost everything but i will be back. Shane

Shane here. As you are all well aware, i lost my shop and everything in it to a fire last night. Im not really sure what to say or do at this point but id just like to thank everyone who came to me or called and offered assistance. And the first responders for their efforts and keeping everyone safe.
