The G.R.A.I.N. Store is delighted to present "In the Quiet", a new exhibition showcasing the work of artists from Nathalia and the surrounding district.

Featuring works by renowned artist Linden Lancaster, Studio Sessions tutor Creagh Manning, the Monday Making Space group, first-time exhibitors, and participants from our recent Art/IT workshops, the exhibition explores the many meanings of quiet through painting, charcoal, pastel, digital media and sculpture.

The official opening will take place on Wednesday 10 June with special guest musician Chris Dainton performing a selection of songs inspired by the exhibition theme.

Join us for an evening of art, music and conversation, meet the artists, and discover the diverse and thoughtful responses to this year's theme.

We’re so proud to welcome Madi Colville-Walker back to The G.R.A.I.N. Store stage supporting Benny Walker and his band.

A proud Yorta Yorta woman from Echuca/Moama, Madi is an artist whose voice and storytelling stop audiences in their tracks. Writing deeply from the heart, her songs carry warmth, wisdom and emotional honesty well beyond her years.

Madi has shared stages with artists including Archie Roach, Kutcha Edwards and F***y Lumsden, while continuing to carve out a powerful musical identity of her own.

She’s also no stranger to Nathalia audiences, having spent some of her formative years testing material in front of our wonderfully supportive local music lovers. Watching her return now as part of A Walker Family Show alongside cousin Benny Walker feels incredibly special.

A Yorta Yorta man from Echuca, Benny Walker is the real deal.

With just the right amount of gravel in his killer voice, deep grooves and songs full of heart, Benny has become one of Australia’s most captivating live performers, blending blues, roots and contemporary soul into shows that stay with you long after the last song.

He’s shared stages with Archie Roach, Alex Lloyd, Blue King Brown and Tim Rogers, scored No.1 AMRAP charting tracks, and recently performed a special solo set in Shepparton as part of the Winter Sessions series.

Now, for the first time in more than ten years, Benny returns to The G.R.A.I.N. Store with his full five-piece band for a rare regional show right here in Nathalia.

Joining us are Mickey & Michelle and Apolline for an evening of virtuosic folk music that stretches beautifully between tradition and invention.

From fiery reels and Scandinavian-inspired melodies to intimate airs and adventurous improvisation, this is music full of movement, texture and heart. Think harp, fiddle, cello and bass weaving together into something cinematic, intricate and alive.
