THE DOUGLAS EGAN MEMORIAL

A race with a special place in the heart of the Narromine Turf Club, the Douglas Egan Memorial is a wonderful way for us to honour the legacy of former President, Douglas Egan, each year at our Narromine Gold Cup meeting.

This year’s running went to Bolo Miss, trained by Michael Lynch and ridden brilliantly by Amy McLucas.

We are incredibly grateful to the Egan family for their continued support of the Narromine Turf Club and for allowing us to honour Doug’s contribution to our club and to racing in Narromine.

It is a privilege to keep his memory alive through this race each year.

Congratulations to connections of Bolo Miss on a memorable win in the Douglas Egan Memorial.

SHADOW DANE WINS THE THREE RIVERS MACHINERY NARROMINE GOLD CUP! 🏆

What a performance from Shadow Dane, taking out the Three Rivers Machinery Narromine Gold Cup in impressive fashion!

The 7 year old gelding, trained by Michael Mulholland and ridden by Liam Blanch, came into the Cup with some strong recent form, including a third placing at Dubbo recently.

Carrying 55kg, Shadow Dane has now added a Narromine Gold Cup victory to his record. A fantastic result for Michael Mulholland, Liam Blanch and all connections.
