Narromine Races Narromine Races conduct 6 TAB race meets a year - a great day out at the races The picturesque Narromine Racecourse is located Dappo Road, Narromine.

Come and enjoy top-class racing action combined with friends, fashion, live entertainment & great country hospitality. Narromine is located on the Mitchell Highway, 25mins west of Dubbo, NSW. The Club has 5 TAB meets a year, with major (weekend) race days "Gold Cup" in August and the "Dandy Cup" in October. Micro Mikki wins the 2026 Narromine USMC Diggers Cup

Fresh off a strong Country Championships run, the Brett Robb-trained gelding proved too classy holding off a strong field to score in the 1300m feature.

With Clayton Gallagher aboard, the short-priced favourite dug deep in the straight to edge out Stockholm, with Turgenev finishing strongly for third.

Buy a ticket in our Narromine Diggers Cup race day sweeps raising funds for our community partner Narromine Junior Gorillas Rugby Club 🦍

Tickets are $5 with all proceeds going to the Junior Gorillas helping them to purchase new equipment and keeping rego costs low for families in Narromine.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Buy your $5 ticket and scratch to reveal your Race and Horse number.
2. If your horse number wins in your race number, after correct weights take your ticket to the bar to collect your prize of either a bucket of beers (5) or a bottle of sparkling!

More than a mount, the Light Horseman’s horse was a loyal companion—trusted in battle and bound by courage.

This year’s Narromine USMC Diggers Cup trophy honours that powerful connection, inspired by the brave Walers who served beside Australian soldiers during the Great War.

A tribute to loyalty, sacrifice, and the unspoken bond between horse and rider.

Stable mate Mrs Bull finished second, beaten by a whisker in a very close finish.
