Lady Jane

Lady Jane Visual Art teacher in Canberra. Art Workshop leader. Painting works on commission. This can range from people to landscapes and even rubbish on the footpath.

Jane is a local Canberra artist and teacher who grew up on a farm in the Monaro Region. She has been based in Canberra for over seven years now and has two degrees, one in fine art and the other in teaching. Jane is passionate about art and education and guiding student towards their own unique creative expression.

In her practice, the beauty of the everyday inspires Jane. She paints with the philosophy that:

“Anyone can love a rose, but it takes a lot to love a leaf. It’s ordinary to love the beautiful, but it’s beautiful to love the ordinary.” - Unknown. Currently Jane is leading workshops to share the passion and magic she feels for the arts. Jane is also creating paintings on commission and working on her own body of work.

Jane is a local Canberra artist and teacher who grew up on a farm in the Monaro Region. She has been based in Canberra for over seven years now and has two degrees, one in fine art and the other in teaching.
