We’re thrilled to unveil the theme for next year’s NarraBRIGHT — Fantasy 🌙✨

On Friday 10 April 2026, Narrabri’s CBD will transform into a glowing realm where reality and imagination intertwine. Expect dazzling light projections, live performances, interactive art, family fun, and a trail of light connecting the CBD to The Crossing Theatre.

Let your imagination run wild — dragons, fairies, futuristic worlds and more — as we celebrate creativity, community and connection under the stars. 💫

Had a great time in the studio with the incredible doing some character shots for the release of the audio drama. With recording nearing to a close (only minor roles and a few retakes to do yet), the next phase is well underway!

MEET THE PRODUCTION TEAM!

Debra Rodrigues was a serious student of dance and has dedicated her life to the craft of all things movement. When she ran away with the circus in Tasmania, she trained rigorously in coaching and performance, specialising in trapeze, partner acrobatics, tumbling, and hula hoops, all to nurture her love of dance and combining it with the spectacle of circus.

For the past 35 years, Debra has been the powerhouse conditioning coach behind the scenes at the Tasmanian Youth Circus, Horizon Circus, 2-5 Theatre, Circus Avalon, and Slipstream Circus, sculpting performers into bendy, fearless wonders. She has used circus arts to work its healing magic with at-risk youth, LGBTQIA programs, multicultural and indigenous communities, and neurodivergent performers, proving that circus is for everyone and an art to carry through life.

Certified as a DNS Exercise Trainer with Rehabilitation Prague School, Debra has long believed that circus is not just an art form but a philosophy of health, life, and overall expression. Find her working her magic at

MEET THE PRODUCTION TEAM!

I entered the music industry in 1986 as a trainee studio engineer, working at JMC studios in Sydney. I furthered my career experience by working live for three years with such acts as Jenny Morris, The Radiators, Stephen Cummings, as well as many Sydney up and coming acts. From there I went on to be a freelance studio engineer, working at several Sydney studios such as Damien Gerard Studios, Velvet Sound, Rich Music Studios and Troy Horse.

In 1991 I became the house engineer and studio manager at Troy Horse, a position that I held for over 10 years. During that time, I became an educator, teaching audio engineering at JMC and at the Academy of Audio Engineers.
In the late 90s I relocated to the Hunter Valley whilst continuing to travel to Sydney for studio sessions.

In 2001, I started work at Newcastle TAFE as a teacher of music technology where I still teach. In 2011 I completed and was awarded a Master’s Degree in Music Technology with distinction. I continue to work in studios and live sound and I’ve recently had album releases including from local Newcastle band, The Dusky Lanes and also a solo album by Jessii Taylor. I’m currently working on the Stage Magic audio drama with Jessii and have two more planned albums in the pipeline.
