What a night! Where do we even begin…

From the first drop of the green to the final chequered flag, the track was alive with action. Every division delivered an incredible show, with some standout driving right across the program.

A huge thank you to Speedway Sedans NSW for the opportunity to host the NSW Junior Sedan Title. Combined with our Junior Spectacular and the Newcastle Street Stocker round, it was a fantastic showcase of young talent and the future of our sport.

Events like this simply wouldn’t happen without our amazing volunteers, dedicated committee, and loyal sponsors — your support means everything to us.

With that, we officially bring the curtain down on the season for the Northwest Speedway Club. After careful consideration, our executive committee has made the decision not to run our scheduled May meeting.

Thank you to everyone who supported us throughout the season — drivers, teams, officials, and fans. We can’t wait to come back bigger and better next season. 🏁

Today, on Anzac Day, the Northwest Speedway Club pauses to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and spirit of all Australians and New Zealanders who have served, and continue to serve, our nation.

Anzac Day is a time to honour the bravery, resilience, and mateship shown by those who fought for the freedoms we enjoy today. These values—respect, unity, and determination—are deeply embedded in our community, both on and off the track.

As we come together as a club, we pay our respects to all servicemen and women, past and present, and remember the legacy they have left behind.

⚠️ Important Information for All Drivers & Pit Crew ⚠️

To ensure a safe and smooth race meeting, please take note of the following requirements:

🚪 Pit Entry & Access

Pit gates open at 10am
All occupants over the age of 12 must exit their vehicle at the pit entry gate. Spectator and pit entry tickets can both be purchased at the gate, with wristbands to be fitted upon entry.

📄 Licensing Requirements
All personnel entering the pits must hold a current, valid Speedway Australia licence.

🚫 Pit Restrictions
At the commencement of the Driver’s Briefing (3:00pm), all individuals holding spectator entry tickets must exit the pits. Re-entry will not be permitted until the conclusion of the race meeting.

🔍 Compliance Checks
Random checks will be conducted throughout the night to ensure all regulations are being followed.

👟 Safety Reminder
Enclosed footwear is mandatory at all times within the pits.
