As the dust settles on our final sale and after a beautiful weekend spent with family, we’ve had a chance to reflect on what an incredible way it was to close the Rayleigh Poll Herefords chapter.

To everyone who has supported Rayleigh over the past 69 years, whether you’ve purchased cattle, bid at our sales, shared a conversation at the yards, offered advice or simply followed along on our journey, thank you. The friendships, support and loyalty we’ve experienced over the generations are something we’ll always be grateful for.

While the Rayleigh stud has come to an end, our farming journey certainly hasn’t. We’d love for you to continue following along with Rob, Jeff, Anna and Harry as we take on the next chapter as a commercial farming business.

For those who still enjoy plenty of Poll Hereford and stud cattle content, we’d also love you to follow our daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Sam, at Jarrah Genetics. They’re doing a fantastic job continuing the passion for Poll Herefords, and if you’re still looking for a bull this spring, they’ll be holding their sale on 7 September.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of our story. While one chapter has closed, we’re excited to see what the future holds for both our family and the next generation.

What a day!
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported our program over the past 69 years. Your support, friendship and belief in what we’ve done have meant more than words can say.

We’re truly humbled by the result of our final sale. It was a very special way to bring the Rayleigh journey to a close.

As one chapter ends and another begins, we look forward to what lies ahead. Thank you all for being part of the journey. 🐮🥰

This weeks RaynerAg Bull of the week comes from Rayleigh Poll Herefords in northern NSW. This is RAYLEIGH VOLKSWAGON V64 (AI) (PP) who will be leading the sale draft as Lot 1 in this years sale on Friday 10 July (interfaced with AuctionsPlus)

There is a lot to admire in this bull. Structurally very correct, woith a long deep body adding to his muscle volumen. Genetically he is a highly ranked bull on both the Herefords Sustainability Production and MSA Index. He is a bull to really admire.

📅 Final Bull Sale - Friday 10th July

Recent rain has the paddocks starting to green up and the boys certainly aren’t complaining! We hope the rain found all of you too.

Our final bull sale will be the last opportunity to secure genetics backed by 69 years of stud breeding. The closing a chapter that has been at the heart of everything we do for nearly seven decades. It will be a tough day for our family as we say our final goodbye to our life’s work. We hope to see you there.
