It is a recreational arts and craft society where people are welcome to come along and join us. Facilities are available to local and remote members as well as members of the public. We have a close association with local schools and retirement facilities, where we provide classes, workshops, social occasions and friendship. Facilities are also available for those who do not have room at home for

artistic pursuits. MACS is a non-profit organisation providing visitors and the local community with facilities, encouragement, education and promotion of the arts.

Members of MACS took the opportunity to head to Canberra today to explore the and the

Glorious weather and fabulous displays greeted us - different media to delight the senses (oils, watercolours, pen & pencil, glassworks, sculptures, fabrics, indigenous art, videos, music …).

Huge thanks to Donna for arranging everything - and all our love for a quick recovery (an accident on the weekend meant she couldn’t join us); commiserations to our President who picked up a lurgy and unfortunately had to cancel her seat on the bus.

I’m sure we’ll do it again - hope we have even more members join us for the next trip
