Applications are now open for selection to the 2027 February - July Exhibition Program in the Narooma Gallery, NAC. Applications are open for solo, group and community exhibitions. Best of all, thanks to our ‘1in100’ Community Shareholders, there is no hire fee for exhibitors.

Call out to any First Nation person who identifies as being part of the Yuin Nation, or any First Nations person living on Yuin Country.

Come to the Wagonga Local Aboriginal Land Council tomorrow, Thursday 20 August between 10am - 2pm to submit your form for this exhibition.

The exhibition will be at the new Narooma Arts Centre (NAC) and will celebrate creativity and culture of the Yuin Nation.

We welcome works of all kinds: paintings, drawings, weavings, woodwork, crafts, bead and shell work and other forms of creative expression.

There is no fee to submit.

Two people from the NAC will be there to assist anyone wishing to submit their form and answer questions. Come to the WLALC on Canty St, Narooma.

The arts in Narooma and the Eurobodalla are heating up.

Today is the last day to enter a work into the 2026 River of Art Prize - the portal closes at midnight tonight! If you are of the ages 19 to 30 years old you will be eligible for the new 'Narooma Arts Centre Early Career Award'. If you haven't entered yet, you still have time. 🎉

Our call out to Yuin, or First Nations people living on Yuin land is open to artists and makers of all varieties. Have you considered entering the Eurobodalla's long running River of Art Prize in 2026? Are you aged between 19 and 30? If you submit an application to the River of Art Prize and are between the ages of 19 - 30 you are eligible to be selected for the new 'Narooma Arts Centre Early Career Award'. Selection will be by the River of Art Prize 2026 judges.

Winner of the award will be receive a 2 week exhibition at the new Narooma Arts Centre in 2027. Dates by negotiation.

NAC Early Career Award: River of Art Prize Award

The NSoA is sponsoring a new award for the 2026 River of Art Prize. The 'Narooma Arts Centre Early Career Award' will be awarded to an artist exhibiting in the River of Art Prize 2026 who is between the ages of 19 - 30 yrs old. The award is an exhibition at the NAC in 2027.

Entries close 9 August. Go to the www.riverofart.com.au for more details. Put your entry in to the River of Art Prize, an independent prize as part of the River of Art Festival 25 September - 5 October 2026.

For more than 130 years, the Narooma School of Arts has been powered by community. Our first hall was built by volunteers in 1895, and the second hall - Narooma's first brick building (now the Kinema), completed in 1925. Today, the Narooma Arts Centre is being delivered under the stewardship of our volunteer Management Committee.👷👷‍♀️

Just 11 Community Shares remain to reach our goal of 100. Your investment will help sustain operations, keep our gallery free for artists, and create the welcoming cultural hub we've envisioned.
