Big hello to everyone,
I am currently in Tasmania with Bruce my big brute of a van enjoying the amazing scenery, like Narooma there is a water vista everywhere and lots of early Australian history in the small, quaint towns.
Gathering visual memories for future artwork.
As soon as I settle somewhere (yet to be determined) Plonknpaint will continue.

Plonk n Paint had a really great art event held in the Quaama hall on Tuesday 26th October. Nineteen creative people from this close knit community and elsewhere shared stories, enjoyed an amazing lunch and painted their masterpieces.
A big thank you goes to Veronica for organizing this event for a community that is rebuilding and healing from the catastrophic fires that swept through this town.

Plonk n Paint has not been able to have events due to Covid and lockdowns. But I'm so looking forward to being able to share creativity and fun again. Unfortunately due to venue regulations this will not be till December, I look forward to that time.

Another fun and creative afternoon was spent at the private event held at the Tennis Clubhouse Narooma on Saturday 14th August.
The event was celebrating a retirement complete with lots of yummy food, bottle of Moet champagne and music.
Image painted was 'Bridge to beach' and everyone did a great job and should be proud of their painting as the photos will show.

Plonk n Paint had another really fun private event at the Narooma tennis clubhouse. Yummy nibblies, music, wine, and a cuppa really added to a very fun creative late afternoon event.
Image chosen was 'Tree in moonlight' an image that conjures up a dramatic and moody setting with a tree in silhouette.
Again everyone put their stamp of creativity on their work making it their own.
I really enjoyed the laughter and fun, thank you all for a really enjoyable event.

Had a really enjoyable Plonk n Paint Fun Art Event on Tuesday 20th July. Image painted was 'Percy a Narooma local '.
It was a challenging image as capturing water and reflections is not easy.
I think everyone did a great job, each work having it's own unique stamp.
Time flew as usual a much needed respite in a busy life.

Today we had a great Plonknpaint Art Event. The image painted was the Australian Rock at sunrise, a well known tourist attraction here in Narooma, although it does seem to be a little worn compared to 10 years ago.
Everyone did an amazing job and all commented on the pleasure of having nothing on your mind except your creating, to me it is therapy a way to mental health.

I'm nearly off to Tasmania to help Gareth (son) with the olive harvest, so Plonk n Paint is on hold till Tuesday 22nd June. The image is the 3rd in my Narooma series I called it 'Australia Rock at sunrise'.
Details of event are:
Venue, Narooma tennis clubhouse, McMillan Street Narooma.
Time: 2.00pm to 4.30pm
Cost: $50
BYO wine (tea and coffee provided)
