Fungi Art for Everyone! Behind every exhibition is a team of passionate artists, volunteers and fungi lovers working hard to bring the magic of fungi to life.

A huge thank you to our wonderful 'fun-gals' Caitlin and Saige, for helping install Tracie MacVean's stunning oil paintings at Bermagui Library.

Thanks also to 'fun-guy' Leonard for lending a hand with Anna Voytsekhovich's exquisite scientific illustrations and botanical artworks at Batemans Bay Library.

The biggest fungal salute goes to Josie Cosgrove, fungi artist from Canberra, and Kath Fries, mycelium artist from Sydney, for co-curating Sporeadic Gatherings, bringing together a network of 11 fungi-inspired artists at Quantum Brewery, Moruya.

We're also grateful to Tika Robinson, sculptor from Bungendore, whose mycelium and mushroom-inspired sculptures can be found across multiple venues, including Shop 7 Art Space Bermagui, Tura Marrang Library, and Quantum Brewery.

From detailed botanical illustrations and oil paintings to sculptures and contemporary mycelium art, there is fungi-inspired creativity waiting to be discovered across the Far South Coast.

Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Garden is one of the best places on the Far South Coast to explore fungi. While much of our region can dry out between rain events, the Garden's sheltered gullies and fern-filled creek lines retain moisture and create ideal conditions for fungi throughout winter. The moist creek areas support lush understorey vegetation and ferns, providing the cool, damp habitat that many fungi love.

This year's Fungi Feastival offers several opportunities to discover what's emerging beneath the forest canopy. Join renowned mycologist Dr Michael Priest for a fascinating presentation and guided fungi foray, explore the Garden's hidden fungal treasures with Jamie and Danja Derkenne, or be inspired by the colours and forms of fungi in a watercolour workshop with Anna Voytsekhovich. These special events are a wonderful way to slow down, look closely, and appreciate the remarkable fungi kingdom.

Whether you're a keen naturalist, photographer, artist or simply curious about the bush after rain, winter is the perfect time to visit and discover the fungi of the Garden. Explore. Learn. Be amazed.
