Christmas has arrived at Michelle’s Cards & Stamps!

We’re very excited to have two gorgeous new Christmas releases from Simple Stories land in store — Simple Vintage Old-Fashioned Christmas and Simple Vintage Evergreen Memories.

And while they’re both beautifully festive, they each have their own personality.

Old-Fashioned Christmas is packed with all the nostalgic Christmas goodness — Santa, snowmen, candy canes, poinsettias, traditional reds and greens and plenty of vintage charm.

Evergreen Memories has a softer, cosy feel, with beautiful florals, evergreens, wintery scenes and those lovely muted Christmas colours that Simple Stories does so well.

Both collections are absolutely loaded with crafty possibilities, with papers, chipboard, ephemera, rub-ons and coordinating embellishments ready to mix, layer and create with.

Hey Crafty Friends,

Well, that’s a wrap on Paperific Melbourne for another year!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by our stand over the weekend. Whether you came for a browse, a chat, some inspiration, or arrived with a shopping list and left wondering how quite that much fitted into one bag… we loved seeing you.

We had a fantastic weekend catching up with familiar faces, meeting lots of new crafty friends and, of course, talking about stamps, dies, inks, papers and all the other things that somehow keep following us home.

We hope you’ve managed to carve out a little crafting time this week to play with your new Paperific goodies. Because buying them was only Step One. Step Two is actually finding space on the craft table to use them!

And we have to give an enormous thank you to Naomi Swan. Paperific simply wouldn’t happen without the incredible amount of work Naomi puts into bringing it all together. We absolutely love working with her — her passion for the craft industry is infectious, her enthusiasm never seems to waver, and we genuinely have no idea where she finds the endless energy she has during a show. Naomi, thank you for everything you do to keep Paperific such a wonderful event.

As for us? We have a whole week off before we do it all again!

Next stop: CraftAlive Brisbane, 3–5 September at the RNA Showgrounds.

Time to unpack the boxes, do some washing, repack the boxes, question why we unpacked them in the first place… and head to Brisbane.

Thank you again, Melbourne. We had an absolute ball and hope to see you again in 2027.

Apparently there are people who buy craft supplies... and then actually use them... on the very same day.

We're still trying to process this information.

Around here, buying craft supplies and using craft supplies are two completely different hobbies. One is all about the thrill of discovering the perfect stamp, die, paper or ink. The other requires deciding which of those beautiful new goodies you're actually willing to take out of the packaging!

Let's be honest—there's something incredibly satisfying about opening the craft room and admiring your carefully curated collection. It's not hoarding... it's building a library of future inspiration.

The bags are packed, the crafty goodies are ready, and Michelle’s Cards & Stamps is off to Paperific!

You’ll find us at Paperific at Hyatt Place, Essendon Fields, this Friday to Sunday, 21–23 August — and we’ve got LOTS to show you.

There’ll be stamps, dies, papers, inks and plenty of inspiration to tempt you. You know... all those things you absolutely need and definitely don’t already have something similar to at home.

And if you’re in the mood to get your hands inky, stop by Robyn’s Make & Take table and have a play!

Robyn has been busy preparing and will have stamps, inks and stencils ready to go, so pull up a chair, try something new and make a card with us. No need to worry about getting ink on your fingers — we consider that proof of a successful day at a craft show.

Come and say hello, have a browse, do a Make & Take and enjoy a fabulous crafty day with us.

The truth is, craft supplies aren't an expense... they're an investment in happiness. Every new stamp, die, ink pad or paper collection has the potential to become your next favourite project. That's our story anyway, and we're sticking to it!

And with Paperific just around the corner, we're expecting there'll be plenty more "prescriptions" written. Don't worry—we're happy to issue as many as your crafty heart requires!
