After much consideration and after fixing the machine in both landscape and portrait format to the wall, I’ve decided to stick with landscape format to avoid the X track falling from top to bottom of frame when power is off - despite the motor lock function update. Also, as it happens it’s easier to set the pen and paper up from the bottom right of frame which is now the 0.0 position rather than standing on a box each time setting up in the top right corner when it’s mounted portrait format.

I had the machine mounted in a portrait format and the X axis bar slammed straight to the bottom of the frame after I sent it to the home position… then realised the entire thing needed to be mounted landscape. Now the issue is the Z motor/pen drops when the machine is paused or loses motor. I’m on a zoom call tomorrow arvo with tech support.
