We are excited to announce that the wonderful Irish/Australian songwriter Enda Kenny is returning to play a show in Nambour on Saturday 5th September. He is choosing to come up here to perform for us during a brief visit home in between a tour of Canada (where he is at the moment) and an event in the UK (where he'll be going straight afterwards).
For anyone who hasn't seen him play live before, he gets amazing reviews. The Sydney Morning Herald has described him as “Australia's Best Folksinger,” and Folk on Tap (UK) as “A Cracking Live Act” with songs and stories seamlessly intertwined. He is known for getting audiences to sing along and laugh out loud and continues to pack theatres and festival venues wherever he travels.

Are you ready for a winter folk concert with a listening audience? We have one for you!! On Sunday 12th July you are warmly invited to be part of the magic at North and Elsewhere's home town show. Hazel and Roanna Law are returning to Nambour to celebrate the release of their first full length album, playing the Black Box Theatre at 4pm. The show will be opened by songwriter Sam Hodgkins, a much loved Naamba Folk Club regular. Karen Law is hosting the event, there will be tea, coffee, cakes and kindness on offer and a bar run by the Old Ambos. Tickets are priced to encourage families to attend. Sunday Folk is back. Tickets are on sale now. This is a "full circle" moment as Hazel and Roanna Law launch their debut folk album as North and Elsewhere. The sisters have been there from the very start, helping their family start Sunday Folk 10 years ago Now they are releasing their debut album, a wonderful collection of story songs that have already attracted attention and acclaim. This concert is back in the Black Box Theatre ,where so many beautiful listening folk concerts have been held over the years. Prepare for magic.

This lovely concert is being organised by our sister event, Naamba Folk Club. Hosted and opened by Karen Law. Main act is an Indi/folk duo from Berlin on their first Australian tour.
