As an agricultural show, we’re excited about all things farming! We love sharing our passion for agriculture and promoting great farming initiatives - like farm safety.

Help raise safety awareness in the 2027 Farm Safety Calendar Competition.
If you are creative, artistic, and passionate about keeping our farming community this is your chance to shine. Students are encouraged to illustrate one of these farm safety messages: electrical safety; animal safety; tractor and machinery safety; quad bike safety; water safety; health and wellbeing.

Twelve winning artworks will be published in 40,000 copies of the free 2027 Farm Safety Calendar. The winners will also receive a $250 gift card and $500 for their school. It was a fantastic boys' afternoon out for our Rural Ambassadors Liam and Kody, who, accompanied by Mark, headed to Sunshine & Sons for their open session and guided distillery tour.
From the exceptional spirits and quality local ingredients to the massive metal holding tanks, the experience was both fascinating and informative.
We are incredibly proud to have the support of such a wonderful Show Partner.

If you are looking for something to do on a weekend, we highly recommend taking a drive to check them out! Open daily from 10 to 5pm, the venue is kid-friendly, dog-friendly, and offers scenic hinterland views.

On World LIZARD Day, we have to give a BIG shout out to our favourite local reptile presenters and handlers - WILDLIFE UNLEASHED!
These guys are not only experts in what they present, but are such lovely down to earth people. Always a pleasure to work with them.
We've added in other special animals they have also 😁🐊🦎🐍🦉🦅

A good M.C. can make or break the main ring entertainment, and we're lucky to have had what we would classify as one of the best M.C.s in Australia - Lyndsey Douglas. She is so good, she now runs the Show Announcers Academy and will be honing the skills of new announcers at this year's Ekka. Interested in becoming a professional Show M.C. ?
