This fabulous show just got even better! We've just been offered a double day pass to the fabulous Maleny Music Festival for one lucky winner. All you have to do is buy an advance ticket to see Enda Kenny on 5th September for a chance to win. Great odds and an even greater concert. Last night we sung a fond farewell to our current venue, Small Change Espresso, and to its owner Suren who has been hosting us for over a year. It’s been a beautiful partnership that has seen Folk Club flourish and thrive. And of course…someone wrote a song about it. Have a listen to Dan performing his song to Suren (and everyone) last night. What a wonderful moment 💚 🎶

And here we are again, all ready for the next instalment of what we loosely call "magic". It will be the final folk club in our current venue (Small Change) as the building is being re-developed soon. So that'll be quite a Big Change really. Come and wish our host Suren well in his next adventure and let's make it a night to remember! Watch this space for news of where Folk Club will be going next.

Are you ready for a winter folk concert with a listening audience? We have one for you!! On Sunday 12th July you are warmly invited to be part of the magic at North and Elsewhere's home town show. Hazel and Roanna Law are returning to Nambour to celebrate the release of their first full length album, playing the Black Box Theatre at 4pm. The show will be opened by Sam Hodgkins, a much loved folk club regular. Karen Law is hosting the event, there will be tea, coffee, cakes and kindness on offer and a bar run by the Old Ambos. Tickets are priced to encourage families to attend. Adults $20, youths $15 and children $10. Available now on Trybooking - the link is in the comments.

Thanks to every single one of you who came along last week and made Folk Club so special. We had 17 performers which meant some people needing to share in the second half. That was part of the magic! We had unexpected collaborations from some of our regulars including this wonderful rendition of The Burning Times by Noel, Alex and Tommy.
