🐀 TAXIDERMY RAT KING 🐀
A dream piece that I've wanted to make for years but doubted myself a little too hard on the logistics of it.
This piece was so much fun to do, but had my back BROKE. It required multiple sittings of 4+ hrs at a time to complete so that everything dried evenly together.
Would you believe that my first rat king was commissioned by the same person who brought my first rat underwear?? 🥹🥹 I honestly owe most of my growth to my customers, because ya'll be pushing me sometimes, and who am I to say no to a challenge 😅

Commissions are NOT open for rat kings at the moment, but I can't wait to do more in the future ❣️

A unique experience I guess...
I never thought I'd be putting lashes on a rat, or painting a rats nails either tbh. But here I am 🐀💅🏼🧚🏼
I love this beautiful rat fairy with real Atlas moth wings and a flail because a wand is BORING

A display from my personal collection. I opened my curtain earlier than usual the other day and a light beam directly came through and lit up this dome. The photos don't even do it justice. My most favourite vintage brass base with my favourite butterflies 🦋

The skins are processed, and then this is the mounting and drying process.

I've managed to pretty much sell out at events, but STILL come home with this piece. The price was right, the quality was good.. but let's be real, she was kinda boring I guess. I finally got some free time and decided to give it a new life and a new look! My favourite colours!! Green, orange and yellow all combined around a beautiful huge Citrine crystal.
This piece will be joining me at the Brisbane Oddities & Curiosities Expo in November! SOMEONE PLZ Don't make me come home with this for a fourth year fml 😂😂😂😂

Instagram seems to not push any of my insect content out for anyone to see, do you guys not wanna see it?? Or does instagram suck? 😅 I've been posting a lot of rat content, but am taking a break to focus on bugs for a bit, I've really missed this. So enjoy this frame I turned into a shadow box, filled with an atlas moth and a beautiful labradorite stone. I luv herrrrrr.
