Did you know about the wellbeing check-ins for school leaders?

Appointments have been extended and are now available until Sunday 28 November (inclusive).

To schedule your wellbeing check-in please contact EASA on 8941 1752 and quote Reference Number 55140.

As part of the department’s COVID-19 wellbeing plan, principals and assistant principals can opt-in to participate in a confidential 30-minute wellbeing check-in call with an EASA clinician.
Wellbeing check-ins are designed to provide school leaders with a proactive opportunity to have a chat about anything that may be weighing on their mind and discuss practical self-care strategies.

The NTPA Exec team have been working with the Principal Wellbeing Action Project team to identify some quick actions that will have an immediate impact for all members.

We encourage you to reach out and utilise this service.

📣If you are in Katherine or Greater Darwin, it is important that you remain where you are.

⏱ A 72-hour lockdown is in place for Katherine and a 72-hour lockout is in place for Greater Darwin.

These measures are in place to slow any spread of COVID-19 in our community by reducing the number of people leaving their homes and moving around. Masks must be worn at all times outside of the home.😷

UPDATE: Vaccinated and unvaccinated essential workers can go to work in both Katherine and Darwin. Only vaccinated essential workers are allowed to leave the area for work.

In Katherine, there are only five reasons to leave home including for medical treatment, essential goods and services, essential work, exercise or in the case of an emergency or to provide care.

In Greater Darwin, those people who are fully vaccinated are able to live normally within the lockout area.

Unvaccinated residents in Greater Darwin are only allowed to leave home for five reasons. These include medical treatment, essential goods and services, essential work, exercise, or in the case of an emergency or to provide care.
