We're getting close to our first ever motorcycle race event at The Bowl, with racing under lights on the Short Track Arena on Saturday September 19.

We've got a great mix of Speedway and Dirt Track classes on offer for this history making event including,

Being our first event, we honestly don't know what sort of numbers to expect, so we've opened up a good range of classes. We can't guarantee every class will get enough entries to run, but we'll do our absolute best to make it work.

More than anything, we're just excited to finally get some bikes on the track😁

Even though it's the off season, the work never stops at The Bowl.

Some recent projects include the renovation of our pit viewing area. On busy nights, this little patch of turf on turns 3 & 4 is absolutely jam packed with pit crews, and anxious parents.

This off season we've added access ramps to either side, making access far easier and safer, along with a sloped viewing area to give some extra room and better viewing for those closely connected to the drivers.

We've also been working away at our Short Track Arena (bike track), adding crowd control fencing, a new entrance for bike events and building more toilets to accommodate our awesome race fans.

We've also upgraded our PA system and finished off the traffic lights, ensuring our riders and drivers have the best possible facility.

And we'd be lying if we pretended "we" were doing all of this ourselves. Ged has to be the hardest working bloke on the planet and somehow just keeps ticking jobs off the list. We honestly couldn't do it without him.

DOES THIS GIVE YOU GOOSEBUMPS, OR IS IT JUST US?

Back in June, the Muswellbrook & Lancaster Ford pace car led a huge field of Microsprints around The Bowl for our POWRi Nationals Grand Parade.

A sold out crowd looking on, our amazing officials lined up trackside to take it all in, and the Australian National Anthem being sung by Jettco Developments' own Evie Bell.

What a moment for The Bowl, and Microsprint racing☺️

Sometimes we're so busy making these events happen, we don't really get a chance to take it all in.

This footage captured by Phoenix The Flaggie certainly brought it all back.

500CC SOLOS ARE BACK UNDER LIGHTS IN THE HUNTER VALLEY!!!

It's been a LONG time coming, but we're finally going motorcycle racing at the Short Track Arena.

We're still not quite sure if this is the very late end of last season or a very early start to the new one, either way Saturday September 19 will see our first ever motorcycle race meeting at the Short Track Arena, and to make it even more special we're racing under lights.

500cc Solos will headline the night, bringing Solo racing back to the Hunter Valley for the first time in a long time, with more classes to be announced shortly.

We're also very happy to welcome Valley Bikeco , the home of Go Bike in the Hunter Valley, on board for our very first motorcycle race event.

After what feels like an eternity, it's finally time.

There'll be plenty more information over the next few weeks, but for now, tag your mate & save the date.

SURPRISE... WE'RE RACING THIS SATURDAY😁

It wasn't on the calendar, but we've managed to sneak in a little bonus racing at The Bowl this weekend.

The NSW Outlaw Karts are heading to the Short Track Arena, with Outlaw Karts and Flat Karts both hitting the track from 4.00pm.

Best of all, spectator entry is completely FREE.

Besom Mobile Cafe will be trackside with hot coffee, cold drinks and a small hot food menu to keep everyone fed throughout the afternoon.

So if you've had racing withdrawals, get the crew together and get to The Bowl this Saturday.

Our volunteers weekend is about to kick off😁

These people work tirelessly to keep our events running and keep our drivers safe.

Without these legends donating their time there would be no racing.

Today we recognise our 2025/2026 The Plumber Kartstars Track Champion.

For the third straight season, The Plumber has proudly supported the Kartstars Track Championship. We're incredibly grateful for Leeroy's continued support of The Bowl. Loyalty like that means a great deal to us, and we're proud to have him already confirmed for a fourth consecutive season in 2026/2027.

Congratulations to Hunter Valley local Blake Everleigh, who claimed the 2025/2026 The Plumber Kartstars Track Championship with an impressive 1,610 points.

Blake is no stranger to victory Lane, having enjoyed success across V8 Dirt Modifieds, AMCA Nationals, Street Stocks and now Speedway Karts, including his recent POWRi Australian Championship victory.

Andy Trent finished second on 1,150 points, while Speedway Kart veteran Ben Morgan completed the podium on 1,140 points after another consistent season.

The Kartstars class continues to provide a fantastic mix of competitive racing and good fun at The Bowl, and we're looking forward to another great season when racing returns in October.

Congratulations to Blake on a fantastic season, and a huge thank you once again to The Plumber for his continued loyalty and support of Speedway Kart racing at The Bowl.
