The night before I'm called to do the Eco-Somatic Art...ritual/adventure/process/research session (I’m quite fond of fluid nouns - seems more representative of those particles that haven't been watched and have multi-dimensions within them) I sit in front of my altar to call a dream or two. This word “call” I’m not quite sure about. I don’t like to “call” the directions, 99% of the time I don’t like to call Mary Magdalen, this idea of calling implies that whatever you’re calling isn’t already here. Whereas the East and Air, with which one traditionally opens a magic circle by giving them a ring, are most definitely here!
But to ‘call’ a dream could work because I’m very much awake, and so here calling is more about difference in time than space. Though of course, I am in the waking dream, both Oracle Girl and the Indigenous people of this land use the word Dreaming, and they don’t mean being asleep. And so dreaming is actually part of my Eco-Somatic Art research, and how to interact or ‘call’ dreams is currently, partly, what I’m researching.
Tomorrow’s Blue Moon in Sag with Venus retrograde after the first full moon of May (the flower moon)...well I could poetically say it’s calling me to do something. To go to a certain sacred place by water and set up space, and open up with the intention to reveal the process that already exists within me (I’m not into the word ‘download’ either - all these verbs that have us focused on outside ourselves) for a special day in September.
This day Zoe Everest and I are going to do a workshop “Woman As Art” where we will teach women how to be life models…which means we will be doing this for, and thus drawing each other. This of course means we need to take our clothes off….and this process has been letting me know, for a very very very long time, it wishes to be Eco-Somatic Artisized. Yes, if you’re a bit picky about words and a sovereign being like me, you can just make them up! Essentially Eco-Somatic Arts is a very natural synthesis of our environment, our bodies with specific reference to our nervous systems, bio-fields, genders and also possibly other parts of my body I have yet to fully discover (wings anyone?), and then creativity. Dance, singing, music, painting, drawing, sculpture, theatre, ritual, performance, poetry, writing, nature sculptures, Earth Art. And now I can add another art form to this quite comprehensive list: ‘the sacred reveal.’
I’m not sure if that is the name that has fully landed, but another term could be “taking your clothes off”, which is what you need to do if you want to be a life model. Actually it’s what you need to do to have a shower…. This action that we do so regularly and automatically I believe has a deep spiritual technology hidden within it - especially for women, and this is what the basis of my current research is. If done in the right way I believe it has great potential to be immensely therapeutic, and so I wish to do it in an Eco-Somatic Arts manner. Or to Eco-Somatic Artisize it, which then means changing the nature of this action and therefore within its hologram there will exist a bit more magic.
First stop: astral station!
Second stop: Body of water tomorrow (provided kids are taken care of).
Third stop: Write about it as this is actually the Eco-Somatic Art section of Chapter 4; “The Precariousness of High Heels (Illusory Boon of Success)” in the book I’m writing. It’s a lot more polished and edited than this stream of consciousness, not to mention structured which I think works well for me as then there are clear delineated spaces in which my writing can flow freely and I won’t get totally lost and end up writing waaaay too much.
In the meantime….
Dreaming of a dream of a dream….water…movement…sunshine…truth…release. Let’s get off the computer and get into the body and her bio-field and call this thing!!!!
PS - I reckon my algo-rhythm is totally nil - so if you happen to have come across this and have the kind of wiring that lasts longer than the average 11 second social media read, then it’s totally meant for you!
