FLASH MOB!!! I've been so busy promoting that I forgot to mention there's Flash Mob tomorrow in Lennox. Read On for details

We'll be doing a Flash Mob at the Love Lennox Festival on Saturday 13 June (tomorrow). We'd love to have you join us.

Meet at the Love Lennox Festival Info Tent in Ross Park, which will be set up just opposite The Point Restaurant on Rayner Lane. Expect it to be busy and to have to park and walk some way to the meeting point - allow up to 30 minutes for this. The starting time is 11 am so please arrive no later than 10:45, with your ukuleles tuned up but tucked out of sight. Dress colourfully, to suit the weather of course.

We are trying to keep this a surprise to the general public. The idea, of course, is to be incognito in the crowd until the leader starts playing and singing, to gradually join in the fun, get everyone smiling and singing, and then fade back into the crowd afterwards. 🙃 🎶

If you've never been to Love Lennox, the last few festivals have been very upbeat and fun. Lots of families. The actual playing/singing time will be only about 10-15 minutes as we will do no more than 3 songs.

Our three songs which you will need to play and sing without music are:

A Wimoweh in C
(repetitive C F C G7 pattern throughout and repetitive lyrics)

Rock My Soul / He's Got the Whole World Medley in G
(G and D7, repetitive lyrics)
Down by the Riverside in C
(C F and G7, repetitive lyrics)

A favour to ask of anyone who's ever played music with me, come to one of my workshops or crossed paths with me somewhere along the way.

My daughter Rosie and I have created a live music and storytelling show about growing up neurodivergent in a family where the love language is music. It's called *Dad Daughter Ukulele*, and it's one of the most important projects I've ever been involved in.

Over the last few years, Rosie has been figuring out who she is, including coming to understand her neurodivergent brain and what that means for her future. After a few forays into the workforce, she's come to realise that her real gifts and strengths lie in creativity, storytelling and the arts.

This show is about that journey.

It's funny, moving, honest, occasionally heartbreaking, and full of music. More than anything, it's giving Rosie an opportunity to find her feet as a performer and artist in front of a live audience and begin building a creative life for herself.

If you've ever appreciated anything I've done over the years, I'd love your support.

You can help in two ways:

🎟️ Buy a ticket and come along to the Bondi show here: https://events.humanitix.com/bondi-theatre-company-season-2026-uked-and-my-fair-lawyer/tickets

📣 Share this post and the ticket link with anyone you think might enjoy a story about family, music, neurodivergence, creativity and finding your place in the world.

This is a genuinely grassroots project. We don't have a marketing budget or a big organisation behind us. We have friends, family, community, and people like you.

Every share genuinely helps. Every ticket sold makes a difference. Thanks in advance for supporting a father-and-daughter creative adventure.
