In Motion Studios is dedicated to teaching the art of dance and performance to aspiring dancers. Classes are designed to teach a variety of technical styles to students at all levels. Classes are run by qualified staff and are designed to offer technique, strength, fitness and fun to all. Classes are held weekdays and weekends with timetable available upon request. CONGRATULATIONS HANNAH! 🎉
We are incredibly proud to congratulate Hannah Priest, who has been announced as the 2026 recipient of The Jean Alexander Award for Ballet!

Hannah began her dance journey at In Motion Studios 15 years ago. We have had the privilege of guiding Hannah through her Cecchetti training, watching her progress through the syllabus and develop the technique, discipline and artistry that have helped shape the dancer she is today.

Over the past few years, Hannah has continued to achieve wonderful things, including awards at the Cecchetti William Case, a scholarship to the Cecchetti Summer School, a State Youth Ballet Senior Scholarship, a Joffrey Ballet Intensive Scholarship, and performing as Principal Artist for SYBC’s 2025 season of The Magic Toy Shop.

Hannah is currently studying full-time at The National Ballet School, completing her Diploma of Professional Dance, while still remaining an important part of our In Motion Studios community as a teacher of our junior classes. It is incredibly special to see a student we have watched grow up in the studio now sharing her knowledge, experience and love of dance with the next generation.

Her exciting year continues, with Hannah soon travelling interstate to Sydney to compete at YGAP, where we know she will represent herself beautifully.

Hannah, it has been a privilege to be part of your journey from your earliest years of ballet through to where you are today. Your dedication and love for your craft have always been evident, and we are thrilled to see your hard work recognised.

Congratulations Hannah! Your entire In Motion Studios family is very proud of you, and we cannot wait to cheer you on at YGAP!

🎭✨ Concert planning is officially underway!

Our Parent Representative Committee met this evening to discuss all things concert, and there is plenty of excitement building behind the scenes as we prepare for another amazing annual production.

A huge thank you to the wonderful parents who have volunteered their time to be involved. Their support and ideas are invaluable in helping make our concert a special experience for all of our dancers and families.

Over the coming days, our committee members will be introducing themselves and sharing how they can assist throughout the concert season. We encourage all families to connect with their class representative and keep an eye out for updates.

We can’t wait to share more with you soon! 💙✨

📣 Reminder for IMS Families

Please note that there will be no dance classes this weekend.

We hope everyone enjoys a well-earned mid year break and takes the opportunity to rest, recharge, and spend time with family and friends.

Bringing the scarecrow to life with character, charm, and a whole lot of personality! At IMS, it’s not just about the steps…it’s about storytelling, expression, and becoming the character from head to toe. Watching our dancers transform on stage is pure magic.
