Mudgee Poetry Slam is back — and we’re so excited to be bringing it to our new home at Warp Arcade!

Come along for an evening of live poetry, big feelings, unexpected stories and the wonderful humans who make up our poetry community 🌿

And because this is Warp, you can make a whole night of it:

🥤 Enjoy a soft drink
🎤 Hear some brilliant poetry
🕹️ Stick around afterwards and play some arcade games!

🌙 Poetry After Dark 🌙

This Thursday (27th Aug), 6pm at Mudgee Library.

A smaller, more intimate space to share poetry, listen deeply, and let conversations spring from the poems and meander wherever they take us.

We might talk about a line that catches us.
A memory it brings up.
A question we can’t quite answer.

Really, we’re exploring what it is to be alive 🌿

Beginner poets, experienced poets, audience members — you are all so, so welcome. 🌙

On tonight!! Come out to Rylstone for some poetry magic!

🎤 TOMORROW NIGHT — The Globe Poetry Open Mic & Slam!

We’re thrilled to welcome as our featured poet for the evening.

🌿 Writing through love, queerness, motherhood & becoming.

The night begins with a Youth Open Mic & Poetry Slam, before we open the microphone to poets of all ages and experience levels.

Perform an original poem, share a favourite piece, enter the Poetry Slam—or simply come along to enjoy an evening of inspiring words and the warm hospitality of The Globe.

From September, Mudgee Poetry Slam will be held at Warp Arcade!

It’s not your typical poetry venue—and that’s exactly why we love it. Warm, welcoming, a little unexpected, and full of character.

Two exciting changes are coming for Mudgee Poetry Slam!

Firstly, we’re moving to a bi-monthly schedule, alternating with our wonderful sister event, Slam Poetry at the Globe Hotel in Rylstone. This means there’ll be even more opportunities to enjoy live poetry across our region.

Here’s what’s coming up:
