I’m at Mudgee Arts & Crafts today, my rostered volunteer schedule. The weather is fabulous, people wandering in to check out the amazing artisans work here.
If you are stuck for a purpose come on down, we are open till 4pm.
If you haven’t yet sorted Father’s Day gifts, there is an abundance to choose from right on your doorstep.🥰

Finished off a stepper box last night, with lovely Japanese decorative papers.
4 drawers that could house jewellery, or any curiosity that needs a home.

Oooh and my upcycled recipe book is ready to fill with favourites. Great time to cull all those extraneous bits of paper with must make recipes, but never have . 😂😂

My Solander box & Coptic bound book set is complete and ready for display at Mudgee Arts & Crafts Studio.

A vibrant collection of Nepalese Butter Papers. New projects waiting in the wings 😉

Progress on the upcycled recipe collection book is moving along well. Finish making up the binding tales, adding a wider spine and covering the hardcover - ultramarine blue. Definitely will need a little embellishment in the outer covers. Used a fabulous decorative red paper for end covers. Sourcing some interesting papers along with some of the original pages to create the book block.
Another day or so and I’ll begin the transfer of information. 🥳🤩📘📖

I’ve been playing with small collages enhanced by stitch. Enjoying the process and the fished result. More stock heading to Mudgee Arts & Crafts.
2 x finished 6 x to stitch this afternoon.
