For MONCAS Members

🖌️ Work on a still life alongside fellow members in a relaxed, supportive environment. (Bring your own materials)

🌟 Session 2: Watercolour Bird Painting Workshop with Ramnath Iyer
Open to Everyone!
⏰ 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM
💵 $10 participation fee (Cash only)
📓 Discover the techniques and subtle nuances of rendering birds in watercolour. Bring a friend along!

The Small Works Art Exhibition is back for its 8th edition, and we want to see your creativity shine! ✨

Curated by Preetkriti by Pratibha🔷 , smART launched in 2019 as MONCAS’s inaugural show — a foundational project that helped anchor both MONCAS and The Track Gallery at the heart of our local art scene. Over the past seven years, it’s provided a vital space for local creators, fostering new talent and honouring diverse artistic voices. This year, we’re keeping that momentum going.

The brief: Small format, big creativity!

Who can apply? Artists of all ages, skill levels, and mediums — painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, prints, textiles, ceramics, mixed media, and more!

It’s also a chance to network, create, and connect with fellow artists in the community.

✨ A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the Opening Night of ART CONNECT 2026 — MONCAS 5th Annual Art Exhibition! What a wonderful evening it was — full of energy, creativity, and community spirit. 🙌
👏 A big round of applause for our 22 incredible member artists whose works have truly transformed the gallery space. The evening was filled with vibrant conversations, new connections, and a shared love for the power of art.
And a special shoutout to our little artists (ages 5–13) for their amazing contributions to “Sustainable City” — our Reuse, Rethink, Recycle Through Art project. You made us so proud! 🌱♻️

🎉 YAfR is NOW OPEN! 🎉

We had a fantastic opening night on Friday and are so grateful to everyone who came to celebrate with us. Huge thanks to Cr Brian Little for the honour of officially opening the exhibition, and to for his ongoing support.

MONCAS is proud to present Youth Art for Reconciliation 2026 – featuring powerful artworks by students from 12 local schools and preschools. 🎨

This annual exhibition is dedicated to fostering connections between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. Each year, young artists from the City of Monash and beyond share their creative expressions on themes that inspire understanding, solidarity, and meaningful conversations about Indigenous rights and a more equitable future.
