PUBLIC NOTICE
Cancellation of this year’s annual Mt. Morgan Show
Which was scheduled to be held on – Sat 8th August 2026
The public is hereby notified that the Annual Mt. Morgan Show that was scheduled to be held on the above date has had to be cancelled unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. We know how much this annual event is loved by the Mount Morgan community and, like you, we can’t wait for the show to be staged again next year.
To help ensure the ongoing viability of this important community event, and after learning of difficulties being confronted this year, we are pleased to report that existing sponsor, Heritage Minerals, has pledged additional support for the show in 2027. Armed with this commitment and hopefully additional support from others including Rockhampton Regional Council and other corporate sponsors, we look forward to sustaining the Mt Morgan Show in 2027 and in the years ahead.
Interested Volunteers and members are invited to attend the next general meeting on the Sunday 27th September 2026 to be held at the Mt Morgan Show Grounds at 10.00 am.
We welcome any constructive input & help from the attendees going forward.
