Tango is nothing like you probably imagine it to be.
It isn’t like the movie ‘Strictly Ballroom’
It’s quiet. It’s connected. It’s two people figuring something out together — in real time, without words.
On Tuesday nights, Tango on The Bay classes have quietly become that thing a bunch of people are really glad they tried.
No experience needed. No partner needed. No particular age or body or background needed. Just a bit of curiosity and comfortable shoes that don’t grip to the floor.
The best thing about tango? It genuinely doesn’t care who you are or what you do. Leaders, Followers, couples, solo — everyone finds their place. The only thing that matters is the willingness to give it a go.
