‼️IMPORTANT‼️

Dear Campers and Parents,

We have been speaking to the camp management and that given the continuing bushfire crisis across the state that they have advised that they are not able to let us go ahead with the camp. This follows the advice of RFS. We of course take everyones safety seriously and always have emergency management plans in place every year. We also are mindful of the fact that some of our campers may be impacted by fires near thier homes and we do not want people travelling through these areas to access the camp.

The warden has suggested we look at doing a “mini camp” after the fire season is over. We will look into this and get back to you all about this. We otherwise look forward to seeing you at Dance Camp 2021 being better than ever.

We understand that the children will be disappointed, we are too, but everyone’s safety has to be the priority.

We will be in touch again shortly, but we thought it best to let you all know as soon as possible.

We thought it was time for a bit of a throw back Thursday! A massive shout out to our loyal long term campers! Some of these kids are attending for their seventh camp in a row in 2020!!!

Can’t wait to see all our returning campers and meet some new faces this year!

Happy New Year!

We are so sad to hear about all fires. We hope that none of our campers or their families have been affected!

Some people have asked about whether it will affect camp.

The fires are not near the camp at the moment and Dance Camp will go ahead.

Camp does have a comprehensive fire plan.

We will keep in contact with the camp wardens. If anything changes and there becomes a higher risk, we will let you know.

We hope this allays any concerns anyone may have.

We are excited to welcome Chris Haines as one our guest teachers at Camp in 2020!!

Chris is a Sydney based Professional Dancer, Performing Artist, Commercial Model. Chris began training at Vanessa Lee Dance Academy in Wollongong and once finishing his studies Chris trained at the prestigious “Brent Street Studios“ securing his place within the industry with some of Australia’s finest Choreographers. Shortly after graduating, Chris was cast as an international dancer for Carnival Cruise Lines and was subsequently requested to assist in the creation, conception and direction of some of the company’s most innovative and cutting edge production shows. Upon his return he was taken under PJ Clarke’s wing at Jeep Management, Australia’s leading Commercial Agency.

Throughout his career, Chris has had the opportunity to perform and work alongside some of the industries most Elite Professionals and recording artists in internationally acclaimed events such as; Dance Boss, The Voice Australia, The Full Monty, Cinderella Pantomime “Bonnie Lythgoe Productions”, Paulini, Zoe Badwi, Em Rusciano, Bob Downe, Inaya Day, Peyton, Carnival Choreographers Ball, Industry Dance, Ben Hur “The Arena Spectacular”, Australian Dance Festival (ADF) & So You Think You Can Dance Australia. As a Commercial Talent, Chris has appeared in many National and International television campaigns; Bonds, Close Up India, ING Direct, KFC, Telstra and Bachelorette to name a few. As a model, Chris is regularly engaged to model for fashion labels such as ‘Puma’, ‘New Balance’ and Westfield Seasons.
