When we come together to share stories and pass down knowledge we remain connected to one another and our histories it teaches our next generations the important of story telling and continues the cycle of culture.

Sundowners are back at it with another money board to fundraise for our troupe’s upcoming trip to Sydney we will be down at Mount Isa Village until 3:00 pm for anyone wanting to get involved and try their luck!

It’s always a good time to see mob come together to celebrate us, our community and our culture…NAIDOC isn’t just a weekly gathering it’s a special occasion to share our stories with our whole community and put our mob on the map

NAIDOC sparks conversations about our people and their lasting legacy and has the opportunity to create relationships and memories nation wide the spirit of NAIDOC should be carried in all ventures and communities year wide so just because NAIDOC 2026 has come to a close don’t forget to keep celebrating mob!

On now at Mount Isa Village!

Sundowners Kalkutungu dancers are officially fundraising for Dance Rites 2026 this is an amazing opportunity for our youths to travel back down to Sydney and showcase our pride and culture and as such we are fundraising to help send our team on their way…we are selling tickets for a raffle and our second installation of a money board any and all support is appreciated and we hope to see you at our pop-up!
