This is the third painting I’ve completed since the birth of our second littlest love, Matilda May on April 9th (swipe for a cute pic) and the artwork that marks the start of my preparations for this years Art Trail exhibition 🌸

This collection is growing from a season of postpartum motherhood. I’m leaning into the softness, the overwhelm and the constant ebb and flow that comes with caring for little people.

Painting has become a grounding place for me amongst it all. It’s a way to slow down and reconnect with myself. I’m excited to lean into that feeling and see what I create ✨

I received some photos from a collector, Kate who purchased the two mini flowering gum artworks I painted the other week 🌿✨

Absolutely obsessed with her eclectic, interior styling and so appreciate her support! She also purchased an artwork from me last year during Art Trail.

What a privilege to have my art hanging in peoples homes 💛

Thank you Kate! xx

I finished re-working ‘Bacon and Eggs, 2025’ today. Introducing ‘Glass of Riesling, 2026’ 🥂

Looking at the original artwork hanging in my studio everyday, I felt the table setting had become comic-like. The colours were too… strong?

I loved the flower arrangement, but I wanted it to look a bit more sophisticated. So I re-worked it and this was my process.

What do you think? Better than the original? I love it.
