Mount Barker Speedway Club

20/10/2026

A huge thank you to the Albany Speedway Club for once again working alongside us! 🏁❤️

We are incredibly grateful for your willingness to change your dates to support Mt Barker Speedway and our opening race meeting on the 7th of November.

It’s fantastic to see two neighbouring clubs working together, supporting one another and putting our drivers and the sport we all love first! 🏎️

We truly appreciate your support and cooperation. This is what the speedway community is all about! ❤️🏁

PRACTICE DAY UPDATE - DATE CHANGE

Working alongside Mount Barker Speedway, we want to give our local drivers the opportunity to support their event while still getting some valuable practice laps in before our season gets underway!

With this in mind, we’ve moved our practice day to Sunday, 8 November, from 12pm–3pm.

🐝 BUSY BEE | 9am–12pm
🏎️ PRACTICE | 12pm–3pm
🍔 BBQ LUNCH | Around 11am

We’ll kick off the day with a Busy Bee to get the club ready for the season, followed by a BBQ lunch before practice begins.

We’d love to see as many members as possible come down, lend a hand and help get us ready for another big season at Albany Speedway!

Hey everyone! 🏁

Netti has brought an important rule to our attention, and we want to make sure all our junior families are aware of it.

Under Rule 2.2.7, all Junior Licence holders must have a parent or guardian who holds a valid Annual Licence. Please note that a One Day Licence does not meet this requirement.

If you need to obtain an Annual Licence, Speedway Australia offers a First Time Annual Licence starting from $140, valid for 365 days. You can find it in the app.

This licence is available to anyone aged 12+ and includes insurance and national eligibility.

Please take a moment to review the information below and ensure you meet these requirements before our first race meeting.

Thanks to Netti for bringing this to our attention! 😊🏁

A massive THANK YOU to the Mt Barker Co-op and Mitre 10 for their generous donation of a brand new BBQ to the Mt Barker Speedway Club! 🖤🏁

Our old BBQ has certainly seen better days, so this is a very welcome addition to our club!

We are incredibly grateful to have local businesses who continue to support our club and community. It’s generosity like this that makes such a difference!

Thank you again to the team at Mt Barker Co-op and Mitre 10 for your amazing support! ❤️🏁
