Hi, I’m Ash, a South Australian based digital artist & graphic designer

05/10/2026

The frog steps into the collection next, one of the more central characters in this world. Character-led prints like this tend to perform well across a range of applications, from apparel to stationery to home goods.

A mumma and baby hedgehog joining the Magic in the Moss cast. Family and relationship dynamics like this one are something I like building into a collection early, they give a print emotional weight that translates well into gift and nursery-adjacent product lines.

03/10/2026

The second mouse in the collection, and the one with arguably the best home, a teapot turned cottage. Small character details like this are part of what makes a seamless repeat feel like a whole world rather than a scattered set of motifs.

02/10/2026

Meet one of two mice in this collection, this one's usually found curled up with a book. Every character in Magic in the Moss has been designed with its own personality, something I think matters when a print is going onto a finished product rather than just sitting flat on a page.

Another piece of the Magic in the Moss world coming together. This cluster of mushrooms is one of the smaller, quieter design elements, exactly the kind of detail that ends up doing a lot of work across a full seamless repeat.

If you're building out a collection or sourcing prints for your own products, these are the little building blocks that make a pattern feel considered rather than repetitive.

Something new is taking shape in the Cosy Scribble Co. studio.

This is the first glimpse of Magic in the Moss, a dark cottagecore collection two and a half years in the making. This little luna moth is the first character to step into the light, one of the quieter, more atmospheric pieces in the set.

Every character, every print, has been built from the ground up as a proper seamless repeat, ready to license for fabric, wallpaper, stationery, and beyond.

If you're a maker or small business looking for your next print, I'll be sharing the collection piece by piece over the coming weeks before it's fully available. Follow along to see it come together, and get in touch early if you'd like first access or licensing details.

My Forest Friends collection is live, and I made it with makers like us in mind.

16 seamless storybook patterns: woodland animals in six colourways, plus daisy ditsies, acorns and toadstools to mix and match. Designed for fabric, wallpaper, print on demand and whatever you love making.

Every one is a seamless repeat with commercial use included, so you can put them straight onto your products. Instant download too, so they're ready as soon as you grab them.

For launch week the full 16-pattern set is AU$44 (it goes to AU$55 after 8 July). Happy to answer any questions about licensing or file formats, just ask below.

Love watching my illustrations go from black and white sketch to finished product, to mock up. I know other artists hear me. Share a before and after colour artwork in the comments below and keep creating.
