In 2022, Jeanneau, along with their local NSW dealers MW Marine (Power) and Performance Boating Sales (Sail) decided to do things a bit differently and hold a local showcase at the Spit in Mosman.
Held over 6 days, the show saw around 400 visitors come through both locations, with many people showing firm interest in boating for the first time.
Part owner and dealer principal at MW Marine, Matthew Willett said, “It was great to spend quality time with legitimate boat buyers and offer a personal experience that is simply not available at other shows. Many of our customers spent close to an hour on average on the stand, passing between our 15 boats on display to really nail down which model would work for them. We have found in the past that due to space restrictions and volume of people, we just haven’ t been able to service the boat buying public well enough and weren’t able to fully show the benefits of our product and our brand. So far we have had a number of new owners join the Jeanneau family and we are confident enough in the value of this years show that we have already locked in dates for next year.”
Planning is already underway for next year, and with some exciting new models due for release, like the DB43, the 2023 Jeanneau Boat Show is already shaping up to be bigger and better.
