One‎ week‎ ago,‎ everything‎ changed.
⁣
⁣What‎ started‎ as‎ a‎ dull‎ tummy‎ ache‎ turned‎ into‎ a‎ sharp,‎ unbearable‎ pain‎ in‎ my‎ lower‎ right‎ side.‎ I‎ was‎ emceeing‎ a‎ show‎ at‎ the‎ time,‎ doing‎ my‎ best‎ to‎ smile‎ through‎ it—but‎ as‎ soon‎ as‎ I‎ got‎ home,‎ I‎ collapsed‎ in‎ agony.‎ I‎ hoped‎ it‎ would‎ pass.‎ It‎ didn’t.

⁣By‎ 3am,‎ I‎ couldn’t‎ take‎ it‎ anymore.‎ My‎ incredible‎ Mum‎ and‎ sister‎ rushed‎ me‎ to‎ the‎ ER,‎ and‎ not‎ long‎ after,‎ I‎ was‎ told‎ I‎ had‎ appendicitis‎ and‎ needed‎ emergency‎ surgery.

⁣I‎ was‎ terrified.‎ I’ve‎ never‎ spent‎ a‎ night‎ in‎ hospital,‎ let‎ alone‎ had‎ a‎ procedure.‎ I‎ tried‎ to‎ find‎ any‎ way‎ out‎ of‎ it—but‎ there‎ was‎ no‎ other‎ option.‎ I‎ had‎ to‎ surrender‎ and‎ trust.
⁣
⁣Four‎ days‎ in‎ hospital,‎ and‎ now‎ I’m‎ home‎ recovering.‎ Slowly.‎ Gently.
⁣
⁣I’m‎ a‎ perfectionist‎ and‎ a‎ private‎ person,‎ especially‎ with‎ my‎ health.‎ But‎ this‎ experience‎ taught‎ me‎ a‎ few‎ big‎ lessons:
⁣
⁣✨‎ Don’t‎ ignore‎ pain.‎ Trust‎ your‎ instincts.
⁣✨‎ Surrender.‎ Not‎ everything‎ is‎ in‎ your‎ control.
⁣✨‎ Be‎ grateful.‎ My‎ family’s‎ love‎ got‎ me‎ through‎ the‎ hardest‎ moments.
⁣✨‎ Clarity‎ comes‎ in‎ crisis.‎ When‎ everything‎ else‎ falls‎ away,‎ what‎ matters‎ most‎ shines‎ through.

⁣For‎ me,‎ that’s‎ creating.‎ Music,‎ videos,‎ live‎ shows.‎ I’m‎ more‎ dedicated‎ than‎ ever‎ to‎ sharing‎ magic‎ with‎ you‎ all—and‎ I’m‎ so‎ thankful‎ to‎ still‎ be‎ here‎ to‎ do‎ it.
