Abermain Eisteddfod ✨

There were plenty of exciting moments on stage last weekend, but some of our favourite moments happened off the stage!
Of course, we love celebrating the performances, results and trophies but some of our proudest moments happened away from the stage.
We watched our dancers connect with students from other studios — some familiar faces and many they had only just met. Encouraging those who were nervous and supporting each other with kindness throughout the day.
These moments reminded us that competition is about so much more than just the trophies.
It's about sportsmanship, connection, confidence and learning to celebrate the success of others!

We are incredibly proud of our Junior Team for being recognised with the Sportsmanship Award this weekend. 🏆💙 What a wonderful reflection of the way they represented themselves.
Thank you to Abermain Eisteddfod for a fantastic and well-organised weekend!

🩰✨ BALLET EXAMS — DAY THREE! ✨🩰

Day 3 brought our Ballet Exam season to a close with our Vocational Ballet students taking centre stage.

The vocational levels are demanding, technical and incredibly challenging, requiring a high level of discipline, strength, artistry and commitment. We are so proud of our senior dancers for the hard work they have put in over the past twelve months to prepare for this day.

Reaching this level of ballet training is an achievement in itself, and it was wonderful to see each of you step into the exam room ready to rise to the challenge and give your very best.

A huge congratulations to our Day 3 dancers.
And with that… 2026 Ballet exams comes to an end.🩰✨

🩰✨ BALLET EXAMS — DAY TWO! ✨🩰

A little belated with our Day 2 post — but only because we were completely run off our feet with a very busy day of exams, classes and preparations!

Day 2 was all about our beautiful junior dancers, with lots of excited faces, final preparations and of course… plenty of ballet buns and hairstyles! 🎀🩰

We were so proud of the way our dancers handled their exam day — arriving prepared, focused and ready to give it their very best.

A huge well done to all of our Day 2 ballet students! You worked so hard in the lead-up to your exams and it was wonderful to see you step into the room with confidence.

Today was the first day of our Ballet Exams, and we couldn’t be prouder of our beautiful dancers!

It has been wonderful to see the commitment, focus and preparation they have put into getting ready for their exams. Today they stepped into the exam room ready to do their very best — and that’s something to be proud of. 💛

A special mention to Ellyanna Blaikie who did her final 'Higher Grade' Exam today - A fantastic achievement xx

The excitement was in the air on Sunday as dancers eagerly (and nervously!) arrived at the studio to audition for our Featured Artist roles and Featured Dance Ensembles in our 2026 Productions, 'Timeless'.

Each dancer stepped onto the floor with courage, determination and heart. Auditioning takes confidence, resilience and a willingness to step outside your comfort zone, and we couldn't be prouder of every student who embraced the challenge.

Whether a dancer receives the role they were hoping for or not, every audition is an opportunity to grow, learn and become a stronger performer. Congratulations to every dancer who gave it their all. We can't wait to bring 'Timeless' to life! ✨💙
