‘Hold the Horizon’

A suite of 10 cohesive and striking new works from Rebecca’s studio. Rebecca will be in the gallery to meet collectors on June 10th/11th.

‘The paintings in this studio suite draw from the landscapes I have lived in or visited over the past 3 years. Places that have held me, steadied me and quietly nurtured me. I’ve responded to them the only way I know how and this is with paint. I often choose the panoramic format because it feels closest to how I see the landscape which is often vast, immersive and impossible to fit inside a neat little frame’ Rebecca Rath.

Amanda Holman is an artist based in Central West NSW.
After a successful career as an architect, Amanda has established herself as one of the most exciting emerging artists to watch.

Amanda has exhibited in numerous group and solo shows, together with being a finalist in significant art prizes. Most recently she is a finalist in the prestigious Ravenswood Art Prize for Women2026 and the Hunters Hill Art Prize 2026

This studio release of 12 works incorporates her keen observation of seasonal changes on the land and familiar coastal scenes.
