š” Iāve woken up this morning with some serious ants in my ranty pants because thereās something that has been bugging me big time and Iāve really got to get it off my chest.
This trend of taking images you āfoundā on the internet and using them to sell your own product or classesā¦ it is NOT OKAY!
Iām seeing it all over instagram and Facebook at the moment and it is so not cool.
Nor are the excuses cool, like; āsorry but ai made it for meā or āwe arenāt even in the same country so I didnāt think it would bother youā or āIām new to this and didnāt know or āI found it on Pinterest so I thought it was okā or any version of thisā¦ IT IS NOT OKAY!
It is really simpleā¦ if it is not your image and you did not make the thing in the image - then you cannot use it to sell YOUR thing.
I like to think of myself as a very compassionate and patient personā¦ (ok, maybe the patience part is a stretch) but we have had this happen to us countless times over the past 11 years and enough is enough. If you do it to us or I see you doing it to someone elseā¦ be warned - I AM going to call you out on it.
