My encaustic paintings capture the quiet, suspended moments along the Murray River when fog softens the world into muted silhouettes.
Using layered beeswax and paint, I explore the way trees emerge and dissolve in mist, creating a landscape that feels both intimate and elusive.
These works invite viewers to slow down, breathe with the river, and experience the gentle mystery held within its shifting light.
The river remembers in soft light. Encaustic.
Where water holds the ghosts of trees. Encaustic.
Whispers through the fog. Encaustic.
Mist carried by the river’s breath. Encaustic.
