Next week (Week 9), parents and carers are invited to step inside the studio and enjoy a special glimpse into what our dancers have been learning and achieving in class! 🤩💃🕺

Classes will run as normal, but this is a wonderful opportunity to see the progress, confidence, and skills your children have been working so hard to develop throughout the term. ❤️

We’ve made a few small timetable changes this term… and we’re so excited to introduce a brand new class!

💪 Dance Conditioning - Every second Friday
Perfect for dancers wanting to build stronger skills, improve tricks, and level up their technique. This class focuses on strength, control, and learning new skills you can take straight into your regular classes.

Open to all ages, but spots are limited! This is a book-in class, so you’ll need to secure your place the week before.

Mission Beach Dance Studio is so excited to share our Term 1 class lineup 💃🕺

You might notice a few new class names, so here’s a quick breakdown👇

🤸‍♀️ Acro–Jazz
A fun fusion of jazz technique and style, with the chance to build strength and confidence through acro tricks.

🩰 Open Classes
Designed for a range of ages who want to explore a style without strict age limits.

🔥 Open Teens
A rotating style class across the year — we’re kicking things off in Term 1 with Acro–Jazz!

✨ Beginner Adult Jazz (Fridays)
Open to everyone! A supportive, uplifting space for absolute beginners and those returning to dance.

✨ Adult Classes at MBS ✨

MBS is excited to be offering two adult classes this term 🙌

🩰 Monday – Intermediate Contemporary (with Ballet)
This class focuses on building strength and technique to confidently perform complex, dynamic choreography. Perfect for dancers wanting to challenge themselves and refine their skills.

💃 Beginner Jazz
In this class we’ll work on flexibility and style while learning elements of both commercial and traditional jazz. A great option for adults new to dance or returning after a break.

💲 Pricing
• $25 per 1-hour class
• Pay as you go or purchase a 10-class pass

✨ Introducing the Intermediate Level Dancers at MBS ✨

This is the stage where dancers truly begin to find themselves through dance. With strong foundations already in place, our intermediate dancers are learning more advanced technique and skill-based tricks while taking on more complex choreography. Confidence grows, individuality shines, and dancers become more assured in who they are on stage 🤍

In this level, dancers develop:
💪 Strength & stability for clean, precise skills
✨ Confidence in performance
🎶 Musicality & timing
🩰 Increased flexibility to perform skills at their highest level
👯‍♀️ Group awareness and teamwork
