Today we visited Millaa Millaa and stoped in to see the 4 x pictures that Kiltans dad drew and Lawrence DeLai sandblasted for him into stone.

The plarque reads 

To commemorate the pioneer families in the Millaa Millaa district
An Australian bicentennial project to commemorate the nations by Centenary in 1988

We are trying to locate the late Max Kleemann's artwork, which was sold from Cairns down to further south, from the 1970s onwards...the artwork will either be signed by Max Kleemann or with a clover and a K.

These pieces of work are of great sentimental value to family, if you know of the whereabouts of any paintings or have any paintings in your possession and could share a photo on this page or even if you wish to donate or sell any paintings by Max , please contact us through this page .
