Introducing our newest DJ Lab and NDIS client mentor .morrison25 aka . Katie is AAI Alumni having learnt to DJ with us back in 2020. We are stoked to have you on the team Katie.

DJ, radio host, producer & promoter
Amorositie is a South Australian DJ, aspiring producer and DNB radio host. A musical expression from the mind of Katie Morrison, Amorositie explores electronic music genres with a focus on Drum and Bass. With a deep understanding of the energies and emotions in the sound waves, Amorositie crafts musical experiences to entrance, energise and emote the listener. From the deep dark and heavy to the beautiful and ethereal; Amorositie lovingly expresses all in her music.

Beginning her DJ journey in 2020 with the Adelaide Audio Institute, Amorositie
now frequents the local Adelaide Drum and Bass, doof and club scenes. Of
note, Amorositie has supported numerous acts including DJ Flight (UK),
Roni Size (UK), Visages (FR), Truth (NZ) Ed Rush & Optical (UK), Terrence &
Phillip (AUS), Ternion Sound (USA), Mystic State (UK), Delta Heavy (UK), Ivy
Lab (UK) and The Upbeats (NZ).

Something we’ve been quietly building at AAI is finally live — and I’m genuinely proud of this one.

It’s called Launch Lab.

Launch Lab is AAI’s 8-week 1:1 mentorship program for beginner and early-intermediate DJs, producers, and artists. But what makes it different from anything else in Adelaide is this:

Everything you learn connects to one real project you finish by week eight.

We call it your Launch Lab Project. From your very first session, every skill you develop — technical or creative — serves one purpose: completing something real that you can actually show for it.

No more tutorials that go nowhere. No more half-finished tracks sitting in your project folder. Just structured, personalised mentorship from active working artists — people still out there performing, releasing, and creating.

There are three streams:
🎧 DJ Lab — build a performance-ready Rekordbox set, artist branding, and the confidence to actually get behind the decks

🎛 Music Production Lab — finish a mix-ready original track in Ableton or Logic, with a workflow built around how your brain works

🎤 Artist Lab — write and record an original song, co-produced with an AAI producer in two dedicated studio sessions

If traditional education has never really clicked for you, this was built with you in mind. The majority of our students identify as neurodivergent or non-traditional learners — and our whole methodology is designed around how creative brains actually work, not how classrooms are set up.
