People often tell me, “You can tell you really love what you do.”
And they’re right.
I became a hairdresser because I loved helping people feel beautiful. Watching someone leave a little taller, smiling a little bigger, and feeling more confident is something I’ll never get tired of.
Then Little Glitter Shack came along… and that feeling grew even bigger.
There’s something magical about glitter, colourful braids and disco music. Not just for little girls, but for teenagers, mums, dads and grandparents too.
For a few minutes, everyone lets go. They stop worrying about being too old or too serious and simply have fun.
I get to watch confidence grow in real time. Shy kids light up, friends laugh together, and people leave feeling brighter than when they arrived.
That’s what I truly fell in love with.
Not changing how people look, but reminding them how it feels to sparkle.

Creating Little Glitter Shack will always be the best career choice I’ve ever made. ✨

Spending three beautiful days braiding hair at the Rainbow Spirit Festival was something truly special ✨

For me, it’s never just about doing hair.

It’s about helping beautiful people feel amazing.
It’s about filling someone’s cup with a little more self love and self worth through creative expression.

And what a magical place to do it.

A place where strangers become friends, where you can slow down and truly watch people enjoy the moment.

Between braiding sessions I soaked up so much goodness, wholesome food, cacao drinks, breathwork, yoga, sound bowl healing, music, dancing, sleeping in a tent under the stars, and connecting with so many incredible souls.

I’m so grateful I got to share this experience and bond with Jess who I worked for along the way 🫶

Creative energy, beautiful humans, and a whole lot of magic.

My cup is very full. ✨
