YouthFest is back for 2026!

Registrations have opened for YouthFest, which will be taking place on the 19th and 20th of September.

Entries close on the 21st of August, so if you were thinking about entering, why not get your details in now!

The Darlington Theatre Players have now turned 70!

From a former wine cellar in 1956 to the Marloo Theatre in 2026, congratulations on 70 years of theatre and here is to the next 70!

Some more recent news, the Old Mill Theatre has reopened their doors!

After being closed for refurbishments, they held a celebration this past weekend showing casing performances from shows in recent years, as well as a teaser for those that are coming up.

Congratulations Old Mill on the new upgrades to your theatre as well as putting on a celebration for not only the theatre, but all your volunteers, cast, crew and supporters.

There has been a bit of news in the community theatre world recently, but the biggest of that news is the awarding of the Medal of the Order of Australia to Kerry Goode OAM.

The Medal was awarded to Kerry for service to the community through performing arts. She is a familiar face to many throughout the WA community where she has performed, directed, supported, volunteered at many different clubs.

Congratulations Kerry on your momentus achievement!
