The River Runs Through wins the prestigious A'Design Award!

Among thousands of international submissions, The River Runs Through has been awarded in the top 5% of designs in the world that has achieved an exemplary level of excellence in design.

The community art project - The River Runs Through led by Beck Storer and the Merbein Arts Group, has been awarded a Silver Award in one of the world's largest design awards - the International A'Design Awards.

The small regional town of Merbein is punching above it's weight as this project is now internationally recognised - a brilliant result showcasing the value of public art in our community.

INTRODUCING THE RIVER RUNS THROUGH

The River Runs Through is a dynamic art installation which explores the rich narrative of the water ways found at the Merbein Common - a native reserve on the Murray River of Victoria.

The project is a celebration of the spirit of the Merbein community as the majority of funds for this initiative have been donated from local individuals and businesses.

The project is now activated and can be viewed on the corner of the Calder Highway and 80 Game Street Merbein.
