HAVE YOUR SAY – PROPOSED MENDOORAN SKATE PARK 🛹
Council is exploring the potential for a skate park in Mendooran, and we want to hear from the community.

Community feedback will help Council understand whether there is enough demand for a skate park in Mendooran, who may use it, what size and location may be suitable, and whether the project could be supported through future grant funding.

Young people, families and anyone interested in recreation in Mendooran are encouraged to share their feedback.

*UPDATE*

But not much progress.
If you have ever dealt with Council's, Patience will be tested.
Proposals were submitted, things were moving, people were in support, council, and groups were in support.
Then, a staff change of who I was in contact with at Shire, then another staff change, and another. Each time feeling like back to the start.
Now back to trying to get things rolling with a New staff member.

Not ideal when the community of a shire wants some progress on various projects that could bring some value.

UPDATE:

There has been some movement.
A brief meeting was had with a Shire member.
We will soon be seeking some community feedback/interest in the idea and then push this onto the Shire to move things along.
