QUALITY of instruments MATTERS, especially if people are trusting you with their nervous system!
If you are facilitating sound healing journeys, having cheaper poorly tuned instruments is not the way to go. You could be an amazing facilitator and incredible at playing instruments, but if they aren’t tuned well & poor quality materials then it won’t be a cohesive experience.
I’m not saying that you can’t get quality instruments that are at a good price, you absolutely can.

If I can give any advice from my experience, it’s all about investing back into what you do. If you can’t afford it right now - don’t go for the cheaper option when you know it’s not okay, wait and save up. This is exactly how I’ve accumulated such an epic array of stunning instruments, like the RootFlute / Daniel Hansen Elk Antler Flute.

Invest in you & what you do & people will invest in you :)

I get asked all the time, ‘Dan, how can I make a positive impact on the world by facilitating and make it my career that supports me as well?’

The answer is find your unique edge. As more & more facilitators enter the space, authenticity is your greatest advantage. In addition, share your story with people and the WHY behind you facilitating. Allow others to connect with you through sharing some vulnerability. This in turn allows others to feel safe and trust.
Also, don’t sell to people - I see quite often people marketing reasons as to why they need to be attending sound baths. Instead welcome people in to discover their reason for being there.

What it comes down to is intention. We have many ancient folk drop into our comments or DMs that know one thing & closed off to understanding what the intention is behind different experiences. Only understanding what they know. It’s quite amusing, so I thought I’d share.

This right here ⬆️ is a whole body vibrational experience not your typical sound healing, it’s designed to really shake things up on a cellular level (but it also makes you feel light and floaty afterwards as well). Personally, I’d much prefer to feel things deeply & more intensely than something light and fluffy. Give me a deep shamanic session or a variety between deep earthy & celestial rather than just a full session of standard singing bowls. But again, this is my personal preference.

I’ve tried many different experiences, technologies, techniques, instruments in this space over the years - but nothing has come close to making me feel so beyond incredible than sitting inside our 36inch Genesis Bowl & having CHRISTIAN DIMARCO play the Yidaki for me.

We have some science and research up on our website around whole body vibrations and protocols and there is a heap more coming out every month as well if you like diving into this.

Blessed to call Samsaruh a friend and additionally blessed to have her join my Sound Healing Course next month where Samsaruh will be hosting a Vocal Activation workshop!

Last year, she had emotionally moved students so much integration was required haha - it’s a powerful workshop!
