It looks like we will be building 3 x 33m2 studios ( $360 pcm plus elec.) and 2 x 55 m2 @ $500 pcm plus elec. But can still be alittle flexible on that for a few more weeks if interest is in larger or smaller.

We will also have a couple of extra spaces for short term one off projects at around 50m2

Mars needs women?
Well of course a balance would be preferable.
What we are trying to promote is not a blokey noisy messy cave but a great place to work without feeling like you are making sculpture in a library.
We are taking the walls to the roof and adding soundproofing and planting natives like maniacs....

Split the rent.
Make something wonderful.
Speaking of wonderful, the new sky lighting is nearly done.
Natural lighting is always preferable when making things.
There is a lot of it here.
Speaking of natural lighting,
The inside/out kitchen/hangout is moving along.
The roof will remain but the walls will be coming out.
Merge the space with the garden
A large,elevated, North facing one.
Grow your own lunch while you work in the studio.
The possibilities are endless...

The average kitchen/lounge in a shared studio is a dark hole with a microwave and sink.
What you see here is Sunwest's take on it.
Imagine if you will a high ceilinged, French doored wonderland.
Proper cook top and an oven three feet wide.
Also a comfy couch and a really nice table.
The main thing is that the end wall is going to be removed so the outside merges with inside.
Rainy day BBQ's.
In the meantime landscaping is proceeding, cotton reels and outdoor fire fill the gap.
To provoke ideas, Amos has put in an impressive front door to his space and a roll away chain-link screen to let the outside in while keeping his gear safe and sound.
Anything is possible here.

Fundere Foundry is expanding to this new site and there are a number of studio spaces available for all you sculpting types out there. This place is HUGE and a great place to call home.
This coming weekend Cameron will be on site to show you around.
Possibly a BBQ but I cannot guarantee face-painting at this time.
