WE DID IT! 🎉🐴

After email after email, refusing to give up and continuing to show Port Phillip Council why pony rides and commercial recreation needed to return, we finally got there!

We contacted Council, reached out to Mayor Cr Alex Makin and kept pushing for our Melbourne community and a St. Kilda icon. Today, we are incredibly proud to announce that the City of Port Phillip’s commercial recreation section has reopened!

A massive thank you to our friend from Cute & Cuddly Ponies, for him continually encouraging us: “You can do this. Keep pushing. You’ve got this. You guys are made for this. I wouldn’t be helping anyone else!” Your support reminded us to keep fighting when it felt impossible.

This is a huge win, not only for Little Riders Pony Parties, but for commercial recreation providers and the Port Phillip community.

We fought for it. We kept pushing. Together, we made change happen!

🤠🐴 SADDLE UP… WE’RE LEVELING UP! 🐴🤠

The Little Riders Pony Parties website is officially under construction — and we’re building something worthy of the brand. 🔨🔥

Soon you’ll be able to mosey on over and find everything Little Riders in one place — pony parties, events, markets, aged care visits, pony rides and all the good stuff in between.

We’ve come a long way from loading up the float and hitting the road… and we’re only just getting started. 🤠

The website is coming. The ponies are ready. And we’re here to finish 2026 on FIRE 🔥🐴🔥

Our calendar is filling up fast, and we are so grateful for all of the support.

The dates shown on this post are our fully booked weekend dates so far. We also have some weekdays already booked out, however these have not been added to the list.

We still have selected availability remaining across some weekdays and weekends, but a number of dates are currently pending deposits and may be secured shortly.

As more weekend dates become fully booked, we’ll continue updating our availability.

If you’re planning a pony party, childcare visit, school visit, community event, market or special occasion, please get in touch as early as possible to secure your preferred date.

🤠 EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST – GEELONG SCHOOL HOLIDAY EVENT FOR APRIL HOLIDAY 2027🐴 Lots of planning involved!

Little Riders Pony Parties is currently planning an exciting School Holiday Pony Experience at the Geelong Showgrounds, and we’re looking for some fantastic businesses and activity providers who may be interested in joining us!

🐴 Little Riders Pony Parties will be the presenting business and main pony experience, with additional businesses invited to come on board to help us create a bigger, action-packed day for families.

We’d love to hear from businesses offering things such as:

• Pony rides or specialised equine activities
• Animal experiences / petting zoos
• Face painting
• Kids entertainment
• Western or country-themed activities
• Hobby horse activities
• Kids crafts and workshops
• Food, coffee and treats
• Market stalls suited to families
• Other unique children’s activities

We are particularly interested in hearing from experienced, insured pony/equine businesses who may be interested in providing an additional activity alongside Little Riders to help us cater for demand.

This is not a request for another event organiser or co-host. Little Riders will remain the presenting business and coordinate the overall event; we’re looking for great operators who can bring something extra to the experience.
