After a long hiatus we are back and Fabulous Baby… Presenting the Australian Premiere of Sister Act The Musical starring Paulini as Deloris van Cartier and Esther Hannaford as Sister Mary Robert. Heaven! Audition information coming soon.

Well hello there from Flourish Productions! You may have noticed we’ve been a bit MIA this year but fear not, we haven’t disappeared!

As we are about to turn 5 years old we felt it important to step back and review what we’ve accomplished so far and how we can continue to address our mission plan of developing and supporting performers moving forward in a sustainable way.

With that said, we’re incredibly excited with what we’ve come up with. We’re not ready to spill just yet but if you’re a performer you should definitely be excited.

On Broadway opened last night and the audiences are loving it - so much so that quite a few have booked again today! Your last chances to see On Broadway are today at 2pm and 6:30.

And very lucky last we have our brilliant Musical Director, Stephanie-Jane Lewendon-Lowe!

As the daughter of two musicians, it was inevitable that Stephanie ended up in some form of musical career. She was studying classical violin and music education at WAAPA when the musical theatre bug hit and brought her to Melbourne in 2014. Musical Director credits include: Ordinary Days (Pursued By Bear), First Date (Pursued By Bear), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Deputy MD, Vic Theatre Company), Avenue Q (Roleystone Theatre).

Musician credits include: Jerry’s Girls (The Production Company), La Cage Aux Folles (The Production Company), The Addams Family (Federation University) and Twisted Broadway (2015, 2017).Stephanie has also taught at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), Patrick Studios Australia (PSA) and Showfit and also has worked as an audition accompanist recently for Michael Cassel (Priscilla Queen of the Desert), Norwegian Cruise Lines and 20th Century Fox World. Stephanie is an accompanist with the Australian Children’s Choir, violin teacher and accompanist at Scotch College and is joining Brighton Grammar School next term.

Leanne graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theatre from the Ballarat Arts Academy. Her theatre credits include, supporting roles in The Boy Friend, Sugar and Singing In The Rain for The Production Company. Her one-woman show, Love Me xx performed to sold out audiences in a variety of festivals around Australia and she has featured in a variety of commercials and music videos.
Credits beyond performing involve directing and choreographing for various cabaret artists, concerts, musicals, events, workshops, arts institutions, children’s theatre, schools and festivals around Australia including - The Last Five Qu**rs; There Was a Boy; Songs For Girls; Manxious; Parade; four tours for Style Music Theatre; Doorstep Arts Dogfight; Stage Masters; Entertainment Store; Come Out Festival; China tours - Four Seasons In One Night and the Best of Broadway; VCA as dance lecturer/choreographer for the Broadway Bound music theatre course. Her most recent work includes choreography for feature film, Spencer (Adam Noviello and Martyn Park) and choreography/direction for film clip, Party People for Melbourne artist, Niko Sopelario.
As Creative Director of her business, Moveworks – along with choreography and directing, Leanne trains professional singer/actors to improve their dance and prepare for auditions in a safe, creative and professional environment. www.moveworks.com.au

Originally hailing from Bendigo, Victoria, Lachie graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music Theatre). He played Young Ben in the star studded production of Follies In Concert - StoreyBoard Entertainment. Other credits include It’s Done (Luke), StageArt’s Falsettos (Swing) and StageArt’s Garfield The Musical (Garfield), Crown Casino's Summer Showstoppers (soloist) and Art vs. Science Music Video Clip – Higher. Lachie’s VCA credits include A Little Touch Of Chaos Workshop (Arthur), L’il Abner (Mayor Dogmeat), Urinetown (Officer Lockstock), Lachuisa’s The Wild Party (Black), Grateful: a celebration of the songs of John Bucchino (soloist) and 42nd Street (Abner Dillon). Prior to VCA he graduated APO Arts Academy with an Advanced Diploma in Musical Theatre and Certificate IV in Dance. Together with Amelia Homes he will be bringing Songs for Swingin’ Lovers!, a song and dance show to Chapel Off Chapel later this year.

Catherine is a Melbourne-based Performer and Producer. Graduating from Showfit in 2014, Catherine has performed with a variety of companies and Venues around the world including New York's Birdland, the Hayes Theatre in Sydney and The State Theatre with Opera Australia.
She was most recently seen creating the role of Queen Elizabeth I in The Last Torch: A New musical workshopped at The Malthouse and in her Short & Sweet Cabaret Fangirl.
As a producer she runs Flourish Productions, best known for the 'Songs of' series in Melbourne & Sydney. The most recent shows include Sing on Through Tomorrow and Let It Be at Chapel off Chapel and The Songs of Alan Menken at MTC's Southbank theatre
