Oakgrove Community Centre offers:

Father’s Day at Playgroup!!

This week, we made things for father's day by planting basil seedlings and painting special keepsakes to bring home..

We also explored spring by investigating wattle trees and spring flowers, and going for an exploratory walk in the park, where children found interesting things like birds egg shells, dandelions and mushrooms.

We’ve been having the most fun at our Adventure Playgroup on Thursday mornings! 🎉

From messy play to clay art decorated with rose petals with a choice of fragrance for a beautiful wall hanging, to hands-on science experiments; there’s been so much to explore.
Book Week was a highlight too, with families arriving in gorgeous costumes to explore stations set up around different book themes. The kids went wild making rainbow slime during our science experiments!! so much giggling and mess (the good kind)!

We’ve got 3 weeks left of Term 3, and this week we’re celebrating with a special Father’s Day celebration!

Join us this Thursday at 10am for another morning of awesome adventures.

Children’s Book Week at Playgroup!!

Today at Play & Learn playgroup we celebrated book week by dressing up as our favourite characters and reading a few beloved favourites.
We made bookmarks, created a paper mosaic of Elmer the patchwork elephant (rescued another Elmer from the ice!) & followed a recipe to make playdough.
Thank you to those who wished Jade & were able to stay for the birthday cake! ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the Oakgrove Women’s Group 5th Year Celebration. 💐

It was truly wonderful to see so many women come together to celebrate five years of friendship, unity, empowerment, and achievements. Your presence, enthusiasm and participation made the celebration so special and memorable. ❤️

A very special thank you to our wonderful guest speakers- Cr Michelle Crowther -Deputy Mayor of City of Casey and Councilor for Cranbourne Gardens Ward, Cr Kim Ross. Casuarina Ward, City of Casey., Norliah Peterson - Liberal for Narre Warren South & Samantha Jansen-Founder of The Renewed Wellness Co. for taking time to join us, share your inspiring words and make the occasion even more meaningful. 🌷
